The piece has lovely ruby/silver zinc crystals on a ruby colored background. These crystals actually GROW during the firing and cooling process! No two pieces are ever alike. The crystals have a silver shimmer and dance about the vase.

This vase was handmade on the potters wheel from porcelain clay by Lindsey and fired to over 2300 F in an electric kiln. It was fired a third time after the glaze in a gas kiln to achieve the Ruby color.
